Lot Description
A 1940's silver cigarette case of rectangular form with engine turned decoration, initialled cartouche and personal date engraving to the interior. Height measuring 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) by 3 3/8inches (8.5 cm), weight 6.8 ozt (214 grams).

Condition Report
The cigarette case displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. To some areas of the reverse of the case the engine turned decoration has completely rubbed. The interior has previously been gilded this has now worn. The hinge and clasp are in good working order. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
