A 9ct gold keyless wind open faced pocket watch by Waltham

Lot Description
A 20th century 9ct gold keyless wind open faced pocket watch by Waltham, the white enamel dial having black Arabic numerals, sunken subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, outer minute track, plain round case hallmarked Chester 1929, fitted with a signed three quarter plate movement with club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 48mm. Total weight 83.4gms.

Open faced pocket watch by Waltham, keyless manual winding movement is currently functioning, dial shows a small crack radiating out from the centre to the subsidiary seconds dial, dial also has some small marks, glass has visible scratches and marks, case has scratches and marks as a result of general use, back of the case shows various dents, back of the case is not closing correctly, bow shows dents, button has wear to the gold plating.
