Lot Description

A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket by Trimnell of Canterbury, the white enamel dial having black Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, all surrounded by an outer minute track, the case hallmarked London 1886, fitted with a signed gilt full plate going barrel movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 47mm.

A silver key wind open face pocket watch, key wind manual moveemnt is currently functioning, dial shows some marks, minute hand has become detached and is trapped between the dial and glass, hour hand is distorted, case has scratches, marks and a chip to the edge at 5 o'clock, case has scratches and marks as a result of general use, front of case shows a visible mark at 2 o'clock, case band shows some dints, back of the case also shows dints, marks and noticeable wear, hinges have wear to the corners.
