Lot Description

A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch by S Garman of Darleston, the silvered dial having copper tone Roman numeral hour markers, central floral and foliate detail, all surrounded by an outer minute track, the case, hallmarked London 1855, having milled middle, engine turned design with cartouche, fitted with a signed gilt full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 42mm. Watch A/F.

Silver pocket watch, movement is not functioning, dial appears to have light scratches and scuffs, hands appear to have marks visible and have light discolouration, glass has many surface scratches and scuffs from use, case is scratched and edges of design to case back is rubbed. hallmarks to bow and pendant appear rubbed.
