Lot Description

An early 20th century 15ct gold peridot and split pearl pendant. Of foliate design, the square-shape peridot to the openwork split pearl surmount suspending an oval-shape peridot, may be worn as a brooch. Stamped 15ct. Length 4.5cms. With associated case. See Plate 4.

The lot is in overall good condition, there are slight scratches in keeping with general wear. There is slight abrasion to the facet edges of the central peridot visible with magnification, there is a black inclusion visible beneath the table. Some of the split pearls appear peach/pink in body colour and others more cream, the split pearls are in good condition. The back pin and catch is secure. Weight 11.2gms.
