Condition Report
In good condition with a few scratches, marks and tarnishing. Each piece has a few dints due to use over the years. Each piece looks to have had an engraved crest removed, although the silver does not feel significantly thinner, there is a little evidence to the interior. The ebonised handle and finial on the teapot are noticeably scratched with a few chips to the handle as well. The hinge is in very good working order and opens fully, although does allow a little sideways movement. There are remnants of old polish on all three pieces in the recesses of the decoration on the spout of the teapot. Hallmarks are all very visible and legible, although with a small amount of rubbing to the town mark on the sugar basin. Hallmark on the inside of the lid to the teapot is also in good condition.
