Lot Description
Edwardian silver bonbon dish of navette form, the lower body with diaper piercing and rising to embossed floral scrolls, hallmarked George Nathan & Ridley Hayes Birmingham 1902, weight 1.35 ozt (42 grams). Together with an early twentieth century silver bud vase of faceted form and raised on a circular footed base, filled, hallmarked Gorham Manufacturing Co Birmingham 1912, height measuring 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm). Condition Report
Both the bonbon dish and bud vase display general scratches, marks and wear, heavy tarnishing also visible. Numerous dents and bumps visible to the bud vase also with a repair to the rim and missing the covering to the underside of the base exposing the deteriorating filling. The hallmarks appear a little distorted but legible.
