An Aesthetic movement silver mug, the tapered cylindrical mug with engraved bird, bamboo, fern and other Asian motifs, monogram and crest, to the plain handle. Hallmarked Walter & John Barnard, London 1879. Maximum length 4 3/4 inches (12cms), weight 10.47 ozt (325.7 grams).

Condition Report

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. There is a shallow dent to the rim. The handle has some small nicks. The base is inscribed "Presented by HIS GODMOTHER, 2nd March 1881."
