Lot Description

An 18k gold key wind open face pocket repeater signed Philippe DuBois et fils, Le Locle, the white enamel dial with black Roman numeral hour markers, outer minute track, decorated case stamped with Neuchatel poincon, having a milled middle and engine turned design with vacant cartouche to rear, fitted with an unsigned frosted gilt Swiss bar movement with club tooth lever escapement and repeating complication. Case diameter 45mm. Total weight 62gms.

Open face pocket watch, key wind manual movement is currently functioning however repeater function would need to be reset, dial shows some small marks, dial has two small dints by the I and II numerals, hands appear to be in good condition, glass is lightly scratches and should polish out, case has marks and scratches as a result of general use, front of case has a small dint at four o'clock, case band has a dent by the hinge at nine o'clock as well as some small dints between ten and eleven o'clock, case back has wear to the engine turned decoration and shows a dint and a dent by the nine o'clock hinge.
