Lot Description

An 18ct gold diamond and cultured pearl pendant. The cultured pearl, measuring approximately 9.9mms, to the foliate cap and brilliant-cut diamond surmount. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Length 2.8cms.

Condition Report

Overall condition good. Surface scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. Cultured pearl creamy-white with rose and greenish overtones and surface imperfections. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Glue visible near cap. Weight 3gms.

Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if the cultured pearl is from a fresh or saltwater source.
