Both dishes display general wear, some tarnishing and surface marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use.  Some minor nicks/dints in the metal, mainly around the base rim.  Possible repair at join of one of the handles.  Remnants of polish in some areas.  Considerable loss of detail to both engraved crests.  Very slight distortion to maker's marks but all hallmarks are legible.
