Victorian silver bonbon dish of rectangular form with everted sides and canted corners, the centre with three small decorative panels and with three similar panels to the underside, standing on four pierced corner feet.  Hallmarked London 1878, maker's mark possibly reads MWD. Length measures 3 3/8 inches (8.5 cm), weight 1.67 ozt (52 grams).

Dish displays general wear, some tarnishing and various surface marks and scratches.  There is considerable loss of detail to the decorative panels to the interior centre, the panels to the underside are in better condition.  Hallmarks are slightly distorted but still legible, however the first letter of the maker's mark is difficult to read.
