Lot Description

A Victorian sugar bowl, the embossed bow and floral bowl with crimped edge, on three cast lions head and scrolling feet, together with a baluster form sugar sifter with pierced foliate lid. Hallmarked London 1893 and Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd, London 1908. Maximum height of caster 5 1/2 inches (14.8cm). Total silver weight 5.59 ozt (173.9 grams).

The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The makers mark to the bowl is worn. There are some shallow dents to the edge of the bowl. There are some small areas of black tarnish. The sifter has small noticeable dents around the prominent edges.
