Lot Description

George III silver cream jug of baluster form, the body embossed with a pastoral scene, punch beaded rim, leaf capped scrolling handle and raised above a pedestal spread bread. Hallmarked  London 1783, the maker's mark distorted possibly TS. Height measuring 4 3/4 inches (12 cm), weight 2.5 ozt (79 grams).

Total lot weight: No

Jug is very tarnished all over and displays general wear and surface marks and scratches.  Several nicks and small surface dints all over, especially around the main rim and foot rim so that they are both a little misshapen.  Small area of solder visible to the interior on one section of the beaded rim.  Hallmarks slightly distorted but still legible.
