Second World War Group of Seven to Brigadier PW Parker, comprising GVR India General Service Medal, bars Afghanistan NWF 1919, Waziristan 1921-24, Burma 1930-32, GVIR Indian General Service Medal bar North West Frontier 1936-37, 1939-45 star, Pacific star, Defence medal, War medal with oakleaf MID, Pakistan Independence Medal.(7).

Brigadier Parker’s military career included service with the Frontier Force Rifles of the Indian Army.

The medal group display general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. The two Indian General service medals displaying the heaviest tarnishing and discolouration. Detail remains to all raised surfaces. The ribbons and mounting appear tired, discoloured a little frayed and the mounting/stitching appears crude. Three of the medals are named as follows;
