Lot Description

A George IV 18ct gold key wind open face pocket watch, the gilt dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track and foliate design, round case with engine turned decoration to rear, hallmarked London 1821, fitted with a full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement, signed John Crofs of London. Case diameter 44mm. Total weight 88gms.

Open face pocket watch, key wind movement is not currently functioning, few tiny marks to the dial and hands, the glass is lightly scratched, case has medium scratches from general wear, rubbing to the engine turned decoration.
