Lot Description

A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch, the silvered dial with gilt Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, all surrounded by an outer minute track and raised floral detail, the rubbed case, London hallmarked 1884, maker's mark C. H., with milled middle and vacant cartouche to rear, fitted with a gilt full plate fusee and chain movement, signed J Williams, Carmarthen, with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 53mm.

Key wind pocket watch, movement is not functioning, this may require a some attention, dial has discolouration and marks from use, hands show discolouration and are lightly scratched, glass is scratched from use, case has medium scratches from use, case back is scratched, edge of case shows rubbing to design, button to top of pendant does not function well, bow and pendant are scratched, bow is loose.
