Lot Description

A Victorian silver key wind pair case pocket watch, the white dial with black Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, plain round case, hallmarked London 1867, fitted with an unsigned full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement and pierced balance cock. Outer case diameter 55mm.

A pocket watch, movement is currently functioning, dial is significantly cracked and chipped between five and six o'clock, tiny marks and bits of debris, would benefit from a clean, hands are scratched and discoloured, glass is scratched, some of the lighter scratches may polish out, deeper marks may remain, case has medium scratches and areas of pitting, edge of case is dented, small area of score marks at edge of case, probably caused when it was opened, areas of discolouration, rubbing to the crown, outer case is dented and has medium scratches, areas of discolouration, small scuffs.
