Lot Description

A mid 19th century 12ct gold, hair and split pearl mourning ring, the hair panel, within a split pearl surround, to the floral embossed shoulders and ridged half-band. Weight 4.6gms.

The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The band has been resized with a different colour gold used and minor pitting. The inside of the band has discolouration and a more significant scratch. The hair panel has slight discolouration. The split pearls are well matched, one has a significant crack with layers of nacre damage. Ring size R. Unhallmarked.
