A late 18th century 9ct gold mourning ring, the initial monogram and woven hair panel, within a marquise-shape surround, to the tapered shoulders and plain band. Personal inscription to reverse reads 'I. Hollinprieft ob 1st July 1786 AE 68'. Weight 4.5gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There are scratches to the ring in keeping with the age of the piece. There are areas of discolouration to the edges of the woven hair panel and the ring shank has possibly been added at a later date. There is dirt visible beneath the glass panel, to the hair. The glass panel is in good condition, there are some scratches to the outer frame. The central panel has possibly been added at a later date. The personal inscription to the back of the ring is clear. Ring size M.
