Lot Description

A Georgian 9ct gold enamel mourning ring, the rectangular-shape woven hair panel, within a black enamel surround, to the openwork shoulders and ridged band. Personal inscription reads "Dorothea Crane. Obt. 31 Mar 1810 At 16." Weight 3.7gms.

The lot is in fair to good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The band has been split along a resize line with slight discolouration. There are chips to the black enamel with a small wear hole near the black enamel surround. Approximate ring size P.
