A selection of three late 19th century pietra dura brooches, to include a circular brooch, depicting edelweiss within a rope-twist surround, an oval brooch, depicting a pink rose and forget-me-nots and a circular brooch, depicting Edelweiss. Some AF. Lengths 4.8 to 3.5cms.

Overall condition fair. There is damage to the frames of both of the mounted pietra dura, dents, damage and discolouration, specifically to the rope-twist surround. There are significant scratches to the unmounted panel. There is some slight damage to the inlay of the circular-shape mounted brooch. The back pin and catches appear secure.
