Lot Description
Three late 19th century pietra dura brooches, to include an oval-shape pietra dura brooch, depicting a white rose within a faceted jet surround, an oval-shape pietra dura bar brooch, together with a further brooch. Some items AF. Lengths 4.3 to 2.6cms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair to poor. There is a chip to the outer surround of the jet brooch, there are scuffs and scratches to the pietra dura panel and a visible glue line to the surround. The bar brooch is dented and out of shape with scratches and scuffs to the pietra dura panel, there is a dent to the outer twist surround. The white metal brooch has areas of discolouration to the surround, the back pin is bent, there are scuffs and scratches to the pietra dura panel.
