Lot Description

A 1920's silver twin handled presentation trophy of circular lobed form, shaped rim interspaced by shells, twin scrolling handles on a circular foot conforming in decoration and raised on a wooden plinth. Presentation inscription and engraved with the winners names and dates. Hallmarked Brook & Son Sheffield 1924, registration number 530830, retailed by Brook & Son, Edinburgh. Height including plinth and handles 7 inches (18 cm), weight 7.8 ozt (243 grams).

Condition Report

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Dents to the body, splits to the lower part of the body. Splits the seams on the underside of the handles. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
