A 1920's silver match case with engine turned decoration and blue guilloché enamel to the hinged lid, hallmarked Turner & Simpson Birmingham 1928, height measuring 6 cm. Together with a similar 1930's example, hallmarked Birmingham 1931. Gross weight 3 ozt (94 grams). (2)

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor dints. Minor losses to the edge of the enamel. One clasp does not hold shut. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
