A selection of five Asian white metal and plate boxes, including an octagonal example with chatelaine suspension and snuff boxes. Gross combined weight 8.9 ozt (276 grams). (5).

Condition Report
All pieces are quite tarnished and display general wear and surface marks and scratches with some minor nicks and small surface dints. Some items are in better condition than others, for example one of the cylindrical pots has a hole in the side, the footed base on one of the other pots has several dints around the rim, and there are some holes in the decoration and various dints on one of the other pots. The hinged lid on this example is now quite loose and the clasp to keep it closed no longer works.
