Edwardian silver box of long narrow form, the hinged lid embossed with a figurative rural village scene. Hallmarked George Nathan & Ridley Hayes Chester 1906. Length measuring 11 inches (28.5 cm), weight 6.6 ozt (206 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor dints and bumps. The embossing has worn through to a number of holes. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
