Lot Description

A George III silver key wind pair case pocket watch by  J.& W. Blaylock, Longtown, the white dial with hourly applied black Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds counter positioned to six o'clock, bordered by a minute track, circular shaped case, hallmarked London 1807, fitted with a signed fusee and chain movement with verge escapement, pierced balance cock and stop function. Outer case diameter 57mm.

Pair case pocket watch, key wind movement is currently functioning, tiny marks and pieces of debris to the dial, chip to the edge of the dial next to the two o'clock marker, light crack through the dial between five and nine o'clock, medium scratches to the hands, replacement seconds hand, paint to the seconds hands is partially eroded, glass is scratched, inner case has medium scratches and tiny dints, pendant and bow have medium scratches, areas of the bow are worn, outer case has medium scratches and tiny dints.
