Lot Description

A George III silver key wind pair case pocket watch, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, plain cases hallmarked London 1814, full plate fusee movement, no chain present, with pierced balance cock, signed J Berref London. Outer case diameter 55mm.

Silver pair case pocket watch, movement is currently not functioning, movement is showing signs of wear and balance cock has been bent down, movement shows signs of wear and would benefit from a clean and service, dial is heavily discoloured and marked, hands are marked and discoloured, glass is missing, bezel to inner case is showing damage and there is a piece missing near the six o'clock point, case is scratched, discoloured and damged, bow and pendant are scratched, outer case shows scratches, dents and discolouration, button to open case is missing, hinge to outer case functions.
