Lot Description

Two 19th century boullework scent caskets. The first rectangular, with dedication cartouche and cut brass panels with red tortoiseshell and mother-of-pearl on an apple green ground, enclosing a fitted interior two gilt-enriched bottles, 4" x 2.5" x 3.75" high, (10cm x 6.5cm x 9.5cm), the second smaller, of serpentine form with contra-boulle decoration and rosewood carcase, lacking bottles, (2).
