Lot Description

A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, subsidiary seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, round case with engine turned decoration to rear, vacant cartouche, hallmarked Chester 1892, full plate movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement signed B.L. Rubinstein & Son Birmingham. Case diameter 57mm.

A silver pocket watch, the key wind movement is currently functioning, dial is noticeably cracked in a few places, especially to the left-hand side, hands are scratched and minute hand appears to be slightly bent, glass is scuffed to the whole surface, tiny chips visible to the edges, especially to twelve o'clock, case also appears to be scratched to the whole surface, majority of these scratches appears to be superficial only, case back shows small dints in various places, personal inscription to the inner side of the case.
