Lot Description

An 18ct gold key wind open face pocket watch by A. B. Savory & Sons, the gilt tone dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, circular shaped case with engine turned decoration to rear, hallmarked London 1837, fitted with a signed three quarter plate movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 41mm. Total weight 58gms.

Movement currently functioning, superficial damage to movement screws - will need a service to verify condition, cuvette marked with fine scratches, some small marks and scratches  on dial, some slight discolouration on hands, hands slightly distorted,  glass chipped around circumference, fine scratches on glass, hinges seem secure - back cover release functional but sticks and could use attention, case bezel and case back marked with light scratches and dints consistent with general wear, bow appears secure, bo showing signs of wearing through
