A Victorian 18ct gold keyless wind open face pocket watch signed S. Smith & Son, London, Kew Certificate Class A 71.1 Marks, the white dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, subsidiary sunken seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, bordered by a minute track, circular shaped case, hallmarked London 1897, maker's mark AF, numbered 14702, fitted with a signed three quarter plate going barrel movement, with ratchet tooth lever escapement, split bi-metal compensation balance and blued overcoil hairspring. Case diameter 52mm. Total weight 111gms.

Smith & Son open face pocket watch, keyless wind movement is currently functioning but will require a service, movement in good cosmetic condition, blued hands are in good condition with small amount of corrosion on minute hand, dial in good condition with no visible signs of damage, slight fading on some of the lettering, glass in overall fair condition with slight scratching, gold case and bezel slightly scratched from use, case back also slightly scratched and dented from use, hinge in good working order.
