Lot Description

A Victorian 18ct gold key wind open face pocket watch, the gilt dial with black Roman numeral hour markers, inner floral and foliate detail, all surrounded by an outer minute track, circular shaped case, hallmarked London 1874, fitted with a gilt full plate fusee and chain movement, signed A Mears, London, with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 43mm. Total weight 61gms.

Key wind pocket watch, movement is not currently functioning, watch will need extensive work to be put into working order, dial is very scratched, black numerals are wearing away, hands are tarnished, glass is scratched and not secured into case front - loose in sepperate bag, case is scratched and scuffed with some dints in various places.
