A late Victorian Scottish silver hardstone brooch, circa 1880, designed as a banded agate cross, with circular orange paste accents, within a banded agate panel halo. Diameter 5.2cms. Weight 28.2gms.

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Pin deficient. Minor nicks to the agates. Glue visible to some panels. One arm of the cross shows small dents to reverse.
