Lot Description

A late 19th century Scottish silver agate brooch, the vacant quatrefoil centre, within an agate stylised petal surround, to the scroll engraved border. Diameter 5.4cms. Weight 44.3gms.

Overall condition good. There are scratches to the brooch in keeping with the age of the piece. There are some dents and more noticeable scratches to the reverse. The agate is in good condition, there are slight areas of abrasion to to the edges in places. The back pin and catch is secure.
