Lot Description

A set of fifty silver ingots commemorating The Great British Locomotives, 'The National Railway Museum Inaugural Collection' inscribed along one edge, each with different locomotive pictured and described. Predominately hallmarked John Pinches Ltd, London 1975 to 1980. Length of ingot 5 cm. Weight approx 31 grams each, gross weight 54.46 ozt (1543.9 grams).

Condition Report

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age. The hallmarks are clear and legible. The ingots have not been kept in a box and are therefore noticeably scratched.
