Lot Description
An early 20th century silver purse and fruit knife, the purse of rectangular outline, with engraved scroll detail and inscription, with blue fabric interior, suspended from a belcher-link chain, together with a silver mother-of-pearl fruit knife. Hallmarks for Birmingham and Sheffield, 1900 and 1903. Lengths 14.5 and 8.5cms. Weight 92.7gms.

Overall condition good with minor surface scratches in keeping with general wear. Inside of purse with obvious wear, tears and soiling. Hallmarks to purse are partially rubbed. Small chips to mother-of-pearl handle.
