Lot Description

An early 20th century silver purse, with engraved acanthus leaf decoration, shaped embossed borders, double clip fastening and chain handle. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1915. Length 12cms. Weight 62.2gms.

Condition Report

Overall good condition, hinge and clasp in working order, however the clasp would benefit from being tightened as it doesn't close flush. There is no material lining and light scratches are visible to the interior. There are some pin point dents around the edge of the bag and three of the corners are slightly misshappen.
