Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, Victoria, 2nd type obverse, small lettering reverse, swivel suspender, named to '1068 . Srjt J. Andrews. 2nd Btn. 11th Rgt.'


Sold with a transcript of service record stating that James Andrews aged 21 attested (St. Helena Regt) Queen's Square, Middlesex, 5 Feb 42. Discharged on the 20 February 1863, Fermoy, with 21 years and 41 days service. Andrews was admitted to Chelsea Hospital in pension, 1 October 1890 and died on the 19th August 1906.
