A George III large silver mug, the cylindrical form later embossed and personally engraved, to the flared foot and scrolling handle with heart shaped terminal. Hallmarked John Lamb, London 1786. Height measuring 6 inches (15.5 cm), weight 16.3 ozt (510 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.

Minor dints and bumps. Rubbing and loss of definition to the decoration. Marked to the underside Thomas' 153 New Bond Street London. Would benefit from a clean and polish. Hallmarks rubbed but legible.
