An early Edwardian silver teapot of curved octagonal form with horizontal lobing, gadrooned rim to the conforming hinged lid, with ebonised handle and knop. Hallmarked William Aitken, Birmingham 1905. Maximum height 6 1/4 inches (16 cm), weight 23.16 ozt (656.6 grams).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. There are some signs of wear at the edges. There is a small hairline crack to the spout and the hinge is loose, allowing slight side to side movement. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
