Lot Description
A Victorian silver bowl, the circular body with floral scroll embossing and vacant asymmetrical cartouche, raised above a circular footed base. Hallmarked Martin, Hall & Co (Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall), Sheffield 1899. Height 4 inches (10 cm), weight 6.9 ozt (217 grams).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. There is a significant dent to the base which distorts its shape, with other small dents. The rim is distorted in shape very slightly by small dents. There are small patches of discolouration to the interior and base. The hallmarks are clear and legible, as is the maker's mark although one corner is obscured.
