Lot Description
An Edwardian pair of silver bud vases, each with frill rim above a tapering main body pierced and embossed with floral, foliate and scroll motifs and central vacant cartouche (missing liners). Hallmarked Marston & Bayliss, Birmingham 1904. Height measures 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm), weight 8.06 ozt (250.7 grams).

Condition Report
Both vases display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some surface dints and bumps, especially some notable ones around the foot of one of the vases. This vase wobbles slightly when standing. Also some small dints/nicks and minor splits to the frilled rims on both vases. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
