A Victorian silver table lighter in style of Aladdin's lamp.

Lot Description
A late Victorian silver table lighter in the style of Aladdin's lamp with a 'C' scroll shape with a zoomorphic terminal, the removable funnel section with a further removable spiral twist finial. Hallmarked Samuel Walton Smith, London 1897. Maximum length measures 6 inches (15.2 cm), gross weight 5 ozt (158 grams).

Condition Report
The item appears in fairly good condition displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some slightly heavier scratches, nicks and marks are visible to some areas. The hallmarks are legible, although there is some slight rubbing and also partial distortion, mainly to some of maker's marks. Removable pieces with matching hallmarks.
