Lot Description

An Edwardian pair of silver bonbon dishes of oval form with stamped and pierced decoration standing on four ball feet. Hallmarked Miller Bros, Birmingham 1903. Maximum length of dishes measuring 5 inches (13 cm), gross weight 2.9 ozt (91 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavy debris to recess and would benefit from a clean. Numerous further signs of wear with tears to the silver, rubbing and loss of decoration definition. Ball feet have impressed to the interior. Small loss of silver to the rim of one. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
