Lot Description

A late Victorian gold split pearl and turquoise ring, the split pearl cluster, with circular turquoise cabochon trefoil sides, to the openwork shoulders and plain band. One gemstone deficient. Total weight 2.3gms.

Overall condition fair. Some surface wear in keeping with age. Central gemstone deficient. Significant repairs to the band, joints to one shoulder and the back of the band, significant reinforcement to inner band. Split pearls creamy colour with rose and greenish overtones. Fairly good skins with some surface blemishes and wear. Fair lustre. Turquoise varies slightly in hue, one is at a slight angle within the setting. Good condition with minor abrasion.
