An early 20th century silver copy of "The Lyte Jewel", of openwork design, the scrolling panel with monogram IR and emerald, ruby and split pearl accents, hinged to the similarly-set surround and plain reverse, opening to reveal a replica portrait of King James on ivory. Length 5.9cms. Weight 26.5gms.

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The hinged lid does not close in place easily but appears secure. Gems are in closed back settings.
