Lot Description

An Edwardian silver bridge 'trump' marker, the oblong form with embossed decoration with four sliding counters revealing the trumps, the silver body mounted on a wooden base. Hallmarked Chester 1905, maker's mark indistinct. Length measuring 8.3 cm.

Condition Report

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.

The silver mounting the wood appears creased and the wood deteriorated. Minor dints and bumps. The trumps appear heavily worn, in some areas very little colour left. Also mark Patent.
