Lot Description
A continental silver cigarette case of rectangular form, engine turned decoration and opening to reveal a gilded interior, Austrian hallmark for .935 fineness and Assay City letter for Vienna, also with a further mark 'LA', measuring 8 cm by 7.6 cm. Together with an Indian cigarette case decorated with niello style panels to both sides and with central hinged opening, measuring 8.6 cm square. Combined weight 289 grams. (2).

Condition Report
Both cases appear in fairly good overall condition, displaying general wear including surface scratches, marks and tarnishing. Some heavier marks and little nicks and pin prick marks are visible to both. Hinges and clasp appear in working order. The Austrian hallmarks are clear and legible. The Indian case appears unmarked.
